3. After the second round in the geography bee the number of students was represented by 0.75N.  Write a sentence to describe what has happed to the number of students during the two rounds of the geography bee.

4. Terrance is going to buy a new pair of sneakers.  The store is having a sale that all items get a 15% discount.  In addition to this Terrance has a coupon that will allow him to take an extra $10 off a purchase that is over $100.  The store is going to allow him to get the discount and then use his coupon.  Write an expression to show how much he would pay if the sneakers cost $C.
   Part B) Solve the expression of the sneakers were $125 originally. Show your work.
