SEPA Nominations Now Open!

8/11/2026

Every school is filled with exceptional students — why not empower them to help shape the very education system they experience daily?

Students for Education in Pennsylvania (SEPA) is a student-led initiative where youth from across the Commonwealth meet monthly, discussing everything from educational policies to student concerns to school life. It brings together a multitude of geographically diverse students who are empowered to contribute their voices and perspectives.

This program is led by two students, Julia Antunes and Robbie Nguyen, who currently serve as student representatives on the Pennsylvania State Board of Education (Board). They take the conversations and insights gathered at SEPA meetings and use them to make appropriate recommendations to the Board.

We encourage you to nominate your most dedicated and engaged high school students to contribute their unique voice to the program. To complete the nomination process, please have selected members of your student body fill out this SEPA District Representative Nomination Form. Additional information will be sent to students upon completion.

Thank you for your support in expanding the SEPA program and in ensuring that Pennsylvania’s students have a meaningful voice in shaping educational policy!
